Remembering & DOING what you love

In my 27 years of life, I have fallen in to many things that I love. But when you grow up and become an adult, sometimes those things you once loved, get lost.

In February, I was on vacation in Florida with my family, and started looking through old blog posts I wrote from college. It was so refreshing to read and see how far I have come in my career, fitness, and relationships. It also made me feel a little sad. I truly loved to blog in college. It was such a fun outlet for me to express my feelings and share my thoughts with others.

It also made me realize how much I truly miss volleyball, and all of its entirety. I played volleyball from when I was 10 years old till 22 years old. And then, with a blink of an eye, I was done. I chose a career that made coaching volleyball near impossible and playing in league very inconvenient.

Fast forward to now, I am taking it upon myself to reroot myself and do what I love.

  1. Working as a nurse
  2. CrossFitting
  3. Playing volleyball
  4. Cooking & baking
  5. Blogging

So here’s to a happy hump day. Maybe this will be a reminder to you, to find that thing you used to love and start up again today!
